Wi-Fi takes to the air

By the end of this year, about 1,000 US planes flying domestic routes will have Wi-Fi service, according to Aircell, the company that has fitted nearly all of the Wi-Fi installations so far, told the New York Times. Another 1,000 are expected to be fitted next year.
