Work starts on Europe’s tallest building

UAE-based construction giant, Arabtec Holding PJSC, has started foundation-test work in Russia on a AED10 billion (US$2.7 billion) tower that is set to become Europe’s tallest skyscraper. The Gulf News reported that the Okhta Center in St Petersburg will be built despite objections from local residents and UNESCO.
