Work starts on Louvre Abu Dhabi

Construction work has officially started on the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Gulf News has reported. The official ceremony was presided over by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.
Mr Sarkozy was reported saying that the two countries had embarked upon “an extraordinary journey of cultural exchange and collaboration”.
