(Hong Kong, August 28, 2009) - WORLDHOTELS stylishly showcased their affiliates of the leading global hotel group for independent hotels and regional brands to the Australian market at imaginative roadshows and events in Melbourne and Sydney on August 10th and 14th, 2009.
The roadshow concept organised by WORLDHOTELS involved a busy schedule of client meetings, presentations and “two unusual events that guests are talking about till today”, said Roland Jegge, Vice President for WORLDHOTELS Asia Pacific.
“All in all, the five days gave us opportunity to meet, network and present to more than 500 clients”, added Mr. Jegge.
More than 100 guests from travel management companies, travel agencies, professional conference organizers and trade missions as well as corporate clients attended a cocktail event held at the Melbourne Aquarium - perhaps one of the most novel venues ever for a WORLDHOTELS presentation.
The Sydney event was equally unusual, including a ‘chocolate experience’ for 150 guests, learning how fine chocolates are hand rafted before enjoying them with champagne and a delectable spread at The Lindt Caf
