The wreckage of a plane which went missing over a mountainous area of Papua New Guinea has been found by rescuers, officials said yesterday. ChannelNewsAsia reported PNG’s Civil Aviation head, Joseph Kintau, as saying that the plane had been spotted, but he said he feared the worst. Thirteen passengers and crew were aboard the De Havilland Twin Otter 300 plane, travelling from Port Moresby to Kokoda.
