PATA’s Vice-President of Operations, Michael Yates, is bidding a fond farewell to colleagues at the Association’s Bangkok headquarters this week as he prepares to resume his travel and tourism industry consultancy business in Hong Kong.
During his time with PATA, Yates was instrumental in directing the Association’s Project Phoenix campaign in 2003 and as well as coordinating the PATA’s post-tsunami efforts in 2004/5. One of his final duties was to visit Beijing Tourism Administration Director General Zhang Huiguang.
