Yemenia has announced that it will increase its distribution through Amadeus’ Dynamic Availability function. The service will enable the airline’s fares to be displayed in real-time as well as let the airline customise offers and tweak availability for its travel agent users. “Yemenia implementation for Amadeus Dynamic Availability functionality will support all Amadeus users in Yemen, the region, and worldwide — in fact, wherever agents book on Yemenia,” said Abdulfatah Altwaity, general manager of Amadeus Yemen. Antoine Medawar, VP of Middle East and North Africa at Amadeus added that the function had been launched following a partnership with the Arab Air Carriers Organisation (AACO). “Amadeus entered into a 10-year exclusive distribution agreement with 13 leading airlines from the AACO that account for 68 per cent of reservations made by travel agencies in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region,” he said.
