(Shanghai, 1st February, 2010) – Shanghai’s latest urban retreat, Zendai Hotel Yin and business focused Zendai Art Hotel have launched their new website www.zendaihotels.com. The websites highlight the unique focus on Chinese art and culture, the dominant theme of these stunning new properties opening at the city’s iconic Himalayas Center this year.
The hotels will launch during World Expo Shanghai 2010 with a program of exciting activities and events.
In both English and Chinese, the website presents the first real glimpse of Zendai Hotels’ ground-breaking concept of “marrying Chinese art and culture with luxurious contemporary hospitality”, said General Manager, Mr. Graham Kiy.
Each of the hotels’ websites showcases their brand identity and service objectives, as well as providing an up-to-date account of developments as the two hotels edge towards completion mid-year.
The website greets online visitors with an exquisitely animated Chinese ink painting from which two Chinese gourds emerge - one purple, representing Zendai Hotel Yin, and the other golden yellow, representing Zendai Art Hotel.
The advanced, user-friendly multi-functional website also introduces Shanghai’s transport network, shopping, tourist attractions, golf facilities and cultural venues.
In both hotel’s websites, visitors are introduced to the Chinese designed guest rooms and suites, created by world renowned interior designer KCA International. The Chinese interior design theme extends through the restaurants and entertainment spaces, which will include a contemporary take on a traditional Chinese Yin Tea House at Zendai Hotel Yin, and Shanghai Art Restaurant and Mezzanine 1 – featuring six international cuisines in one fabulous venue – at Zendai Art Hotel.
Meetings and event planners can view the outstanding range of meetings and events facilities throughout the hotel complex with detailed floor plans and visuals.
The website also features news of all events at the nearby Shanghai New International Expo Center, along with the latest information on trade fairs and business exhibitions taking place at the same time.
Highlighting the distinction between the two new hotels, the Zendai Hotel Yin homepage underlines the essence of a contemporary “urban retreat” offering the traveller a sanctuary of peace and well-being a world away from today’s pressured urban lifestyles.
The Zendai Art Hotel portal is artistically enlivened, underlining its focus on Chinese art and culture. The homepage displays details of a magnificent multi-media artwork which will appear on the hotel’s lobby ceiling entitled Heaven and Chi, which projects the daily and seasonal movement of celestial bodies. This magical canopy can be customized to welcome groups and for special events, making it a memorable and successful experience for all.
A highly-anticipated section exhibiting works of art will soon be featured enabling visitors to view and purchase art collectibles online, these pieces are specially sourced from artisans, and will be on rotating display at the lobby of the Zendai Art Hotel and available from the Lobby Shop.
The hotels website are also available via 3G mobile site with hotel information and booking capabilities – extremely useful for today’s road warriors who want quick travel information and room booking capabilities while on the go.
“Our new online launch raises the curtain on a series of promotional programs for the two hotels, while serving as a prototype of our online marketing system and warm-up for our grand opening in the second half of 2010″, said Graham Kiy.
