‘Zero-emission’ hotel to open in Milan

A new boutique ‘zero-emission’ hotel is to open in Milan at the end of this month. Hotel Milano Scala, Brera has claimed it is the first hotel to use its environmental initiatives to not release any emissions. The hotel employs a heat recovery system to control in-room temperature and produce hot water and works with suppliers who use clean and renewable energy sources. The old palazzo that house the hotel has been renovated, offering 62 rooms, a restaurant, fitness centre, relaxation area, meeting rooms and a scenic terrace.
