Taj Safaris to open lodge in Nepal

Taj Safaris is set to open a new lodge in Nepal’s Chitwan National Park this week.
Launching on 1 April, the Meghauli Serai lodge will feature 13 rooms, plus 16 luxury villas with private plunge pools. There is also one presidential suite overlooking the Rapti River which features a private deck and plunge pool.
Facilities at the lodge will include a dining room, bar and lounge, organic gardens and a themed dining venue designed to recreate a traditional Tharu village. There will also be a spa, a large outdoor swimming pool, private massage decks, a fitness centre, children’s play area, library and conference room.
Chitwan National Park is home to around 500 species of bird and approximately 68 species of mammals, and guests will be offered jeep and walking safaris, plus canoeing trips on the Rapti River and visits to Tharu tribal villages.
