Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas has announced it will add five properties to its portfolio in the next three years.
New additions will include properties in Saint Lucia, Dominican Republic and Columbia, marking the brand’s debut in the Western Hemisphere.
Its other properties will open in Bhutan and Qing Cheng Mountain, China.
The expansion is being led under a new team, with Wolf Hengst as executive chairman and Neil Jacobs as CEO.
Its spa and wellness programme will also be given more of a forefront with the appointment of Anna Bjurstam as vice president of spa and wellness.
Under the new management the Six Senses logo has been changed to purple to “associate dignity, wisdom, spirituality and passion”, with the logo to be in green for its spas. A new website is to follow in early March.
