Hilton Worldwide recently announced signing of a management agreement with HE Abdullah Al Neyadi to open Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha.
This would be the third location for mid-market brand to be confirmed in Dubai. The new hotel is expected to open in 2018 and will be located in the Al Barsha district. The hotel will cater for business and leisure travellers.
Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Middle East & Africa for Hilton Worldwide, said: “Since we announced our first Hampton by Hilton for the Middle East last year, we have seen a surge of interest to develop the brand across the region. With sites now under construction in Saudi Arabia and the UAE – we see significant opportunity for investors to fill the mid-market gap with our world-class, value brand.”
On completion Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha will feature 154 guest rooms, a breakfast area, living and working zones, juice bar, 24-hour fitness facility and swimming pool.
Across the Middle East, Hilton Worldwide is rapidly expanding its portfolio of mid-market, upscale and luxury properties within its distinct portfolio of brands. Approximately 70% of the company’s Middle East pipeline is under construction. In 2015, notable milestones included the signing of a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Dubai South’s Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as confirmation of the first Curio – A Collection by Hilton for Dubai with The Rosemont Hotel & Residences.
