MARK CHAN has been appointed as Ascott’s new Country General Manager for Thailand. Chan has been with Ascott since May 2010 as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Asset Management, prior to which he worked in the banking sector.
ANDRE A. GOMEZ has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa. A Malaysian national, Gomez has 20 years’ experience and arrives from Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he also served as GM.
LINDA KELLY-SMITH has been announced as Travelport’s new Head of Solutions and Support – Asia Pacific, based in Sydney. Ms Kelly-Smith joined Travelport in 2009 as Product Manager and was promoted to Head of Regional Product Support a year later.
ANGELA WILLIAMS has been appointed Head of Regional Product Support – Asia Pacific for Travelport. Ms Williams, who will be based in Sydney, joined Travelport in 2009 as a Business Analysis Manager, and has more than 10 years’ experience.
PATRICK NG has been named Executive Assistant Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya. A Malaysian national, Ng has worked with HPL for the past three years as Director of Business Development. He previously worked for Marriott.
MAZY CHENG has been named as the new Director of Human Resources for the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers. Ms Cheng has 15 years’ HR experience with hotels including Nikko Hong Kong and InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong.
SANDIT SHAH has been announced as the new Director of Sales & Marketing for the Holiday Inn Cochin. Shah joins the new hotel with more than 15 years’ experience in India, UAE and Seychelles, with companies including Taj Group and Starwood.
DANIELLE KEOGH has been named as Reed Travel Exhibitions’ (RTE) new Head of Sales for the global IBTM portfolio. Ms Keogh joins the company from her previous position as Director of Sales for NH Hotels, based in London.
