Job Responsibilities
– Assist with car/ hotel doors and guest luggage.
– Ensure timely delivery of all guest luggage
– Explain technology and features of guest rooms.
– Co-ordinate VIP arrivals and departures.
– Provide information pertaining to all hotel services, local places of interests, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and any other information likely to be of the interest to guests.
– Build good relationships with the guest and ensure that they are always satisfied with the quality of service.
– Responsible for the timely and careful delivery and collection of guest luggage and belongings to and from Guest Rooms, cars and Front Office.
– Assist with the Front Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualised customer focused service
– Respond to all guest enquiries regarding local attractions, restaurants, and tours. Offer the best product or service to meet the guests’ individual requirements
Job Specifications
– Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
– Desire and ability to train and develop ambassadors
– Multi-lingual, English essential
– Maintains awareness of industry trends in service, product and presentation
– Organises time and work efficiently
– Effective verbal and written communication skills
– Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
– Able to work on a 3 shift basis
– Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
