The Airbus factory in Tianjin, northern China, will assemble 36 A320 aircraft in 2011, Xinhua reported local officials as saying yesterday. By the end of 2010, the assembly plant, which opened in September 2008, had delivered 37 A320 planes to eight Chinese airlines. The first A320 plane assembled at the plant was delivered to Sichuan Airlines in June 2009.
