Job Description

Content Manager – Required for this established, award winning company based in the Manchester area. They are looking for an experienced Content Manager/Senior Content Exec to help build the offline and online content strategy ahead of the companies next stage of growth. The Content Manager will be responsible for the creation, review and management of high quality copywriting and content marketing assets across all marketing formats, including brochures, magazines, online, social, blogs and video scripts, creating and delivering compelling, distinctive and innovative brand content in line with brand guidelines. This role must be able to adapt the copy style and outputs to suit the channel, format and audience across global markets . This role is hybrid part home based and part office based in Manchester Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm and offers a salary up to £30,000

Content Manager responsibilities

  • Create a global content strategy taking in the global priorities, growth areas, brochure schedule and global marketing campaigns
  • Create global copy and content to be used throughout the companies multi-channel marketing
  • Create and deliver the EC video strategy (manage end to end including objective of each video, length, call to action, format, briefing videographer, writing the script, developing music and voice over and delivering to global GBT)
  • Build a global onsite blog strategy including writing blogs
  • Deliver all digital content to compliment the businesses SEO strategy
  • Liaise with the team to build ongoing content
  • Write and manage at least 3 magazines per year
  • Develop global presentations (information sessions) for global team – both trade and consumer
  • Research, conceptualize and write original content
  • Educate sales, marketing and product teams on best practice writing
  • Report on the performance of all content, provide useful insights and actions backed by data

Content Manager skills required

  • Previous experience in copywriting, journalism, or content marketing experience with demonstrated success
  • Exceptional writing skills including excellent grammar, proofing and editing skills
  • Experience in, or exposure to, developing content for digital programs (online, digital marketing, CRM and social)
  • Proven stakeholder relationship building, respect and rapport
  • A very high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Be able to develop authentic, accurate, compelling, creative and persuasive marketing content
  • Thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment with the ability to produce work fast and of high quality
  • Manage a complex workload and work to tight deadlines, under pressure with a dynamic team and very competitive environment
  • Experience in Microsoft office and Adobe InCopy
