Novotel opens new hotel in Johor Bahru

 

Novotel has announced the opening of its latest hotel, Novotel Johor Bahru City Centre, situated in the heart of Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This new addition to the city's hospitality landscape aims to provide a harmonious blend of contemporary comfort and warm Malaysian hospitality. The hotel features 304 rooms and suites, each equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, Smart TVs, and Deep Nature amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests of all ages.

The hotel's design incorporates elements of Malaysia's cultural identity within a modern setting, offering inviting spaces that reflect local character. Guests can enjoy dining at Food Exchange, which serves local and international cuisine, or relax at the Gourmet Bar and Pool Bar. For events, The Grand Chamber, a 520-square-metre ballroom, can accommodate up to 300 guests, making it ideal for weddings and corporate gatherings.

Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer of Accor Asia's Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division, expressed pride in the new property, stating, "Johor Bahru is a dynamic gateway city, and this hotel embodies the balance of comfort and modernity that Novotel is known for." Brendan Chong, General Manager, added, "Our goal is to create meaningful stays where business meets comfort in the heart of Johor Bahru."

The hotel also supports Novotel's Positive Impact Plan, featuring sustainable initiatives such as filtered water taps in every room to eliminate single-use plastic bottles. To celebrate its opening, the hotel offers an exclusive rate starting from $73 (MYR 345) per night, valid until 6 March 2026.
