The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Hennur, Bengaluru. This greenfield project aims to cater to the growing demand for quality hospitality in North Bengaluru, a rapidly developing area known for its infrastructure upgrades and proximity to major IT hubs and the airport.

The 350-key Gateway Hennur will offer a range of amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, a stylish bar, a speciality restaurant, and a lounge. The hotel will also feature extensive banqueting facilities covering over 16,000 square feet, complemented by state-of-the-art meeting rooms. Guests can enjoy wellness and recreational facilities such as a fully equipped gym, health club, swimming pool, and dedicated treatment rooms.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, highlighted the significance of the project, stating, "Bengaluru’s growth story continues to evolve with suburbs and satellite cities emerging as vibrant development hubs. Gateway Hennur will offer a contemporary experience that complements the city’s expansion."

The project is being developed in partnership with Sanjay Suresh, Managing Director of Billore Ventures Pvt Ltd. Suresh expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, "We are happy to continue our longstanding partnership with IHCL and add a Gateway to our offerings."

With this addition, IHCL will have 20 hotels in Bengaluru, including 11 under development, further solidifying its presence in the region.
