Fauchon Hotel Kyoto unveils Valentine’s Day delights

Fauchon Hotel Kyoto, Japan's first gourmet hotel by the renowned Parisian brand Fauchon, is celebrating Valentine's Day with a unique selection of gastronomic experiences. From 1 to 14 February 2026, guests can indulge in a limited-edition programme featuring the exquisite pairing of Amaou strawberries and premium chocolate, available across afternoon tea, restaurant desserts, and artisanal chocolates.

At the Salon de thรฉ Fauchon, located on the hotel's 10th floor, the Amaou Valentine's Afternoon Tea offers a seasonal twist on the hotel's signature experience. The menu includes chocolate-based sweets infused with Amaou strawberries and savoury bites, highlighted by the Napoleon Chocolat and an interactive chocolate fondue. Guests can enjoy free-flow Fauchon teas, coffee, and juices during three daily sessions, each lasting two hours.

Meanwhile, the Grand Cafรฉ Fauchon will provide a complimentary chocolate terrine with all lunch and dinner courses. This dessert, paired with coffee or tea brewed with traditional Sennen Water, complements a seasonal menu and offers panoramic views of Kyoto and Higashiyama. The terrine is also available for purchase at the hotel's boutique.

On the ground floor, Fauchon Pastry & Boutique presents an exclusive Valentine's chocolate collection, featuring eight varieties of bonbon chocolates and two chocolate tablets made with Valrhona's finest French chocolate. Signature creations include the lip-shaped bonbons Bis Biz Rouge and Bis Biz Bordeaux.
