These partners demonstrated the wide range of experiences available in Qatar, from luxury resorts to cultural districts and wellness retreats.
Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, emphasised India's priority status, stating, โIndia is a priority market for Qatar. Our focus is to ensure that Indian travellers are fully aware of the breadth and depth of experiences Qatar offers.โ In 2025, Qatar welcomed over 430,000 visitors from India, supported by robust aviation links with multiple daily flights to Doha.
The roadshow aimed to position Qatar as more than just a stopover destination, offering tailored itineraries for various travel styles and budgets. This initiative aligns with Qatar's holistic approach to tourism, focusing on luxury, wellness, and cultural experiences.
As 2026 progresses, Visit Qatar continues to build long-term relationships with Indian travel professionals, leveraging a dynamic calendar of over 600 events hosted in Qatar in 2025. This strategy reinforces Qatar's position as a destination offering year-round experiences for all travellers.
