BOBCARD and Etihad launch co-branded credit cards

BOBCARD Limited, a subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, has teamed up with Etihad Airways to introduce two co-branded credit cards in India, aimed at enhancing travel experiences and rewards for frequent flyers and global travellers. The BOBCARD Etihad Guest Credit Card is available in two variants: a Premium variant priced at ₹5,000 and an Entry variant at ₹2,500. Both cards offer annual fee reversals upon meeting spend milestones and a robust miles-earning system for travel-related purchases.

The Premium variant provides accelerated mile earnings, including 2 miles per ₹100 on regular transactions and 6 miles on Etihad bookings. It also offers a 2X welcome bonus of 5,000 miles, tier status upgrades, multiple lounge accesses, zero forex markup, and exclusive lifestyle privileges. The Entry variant offers 1 mile per ₹100 on regular spend and 3 miles on Etihad transactions, a 2X welcome bonus of 2,500 miles, Silver Tier status, complimentary lounge access, and a 1% forex markup on international transactions.

Ravindra Rai, Managing Director and CEO of BOBCARD Limited, stated, “This collaboration marks a key milestone in strengthening BOBCARD’s premium lifestyle portfolio for the new-age Indian consumer.” Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, added, “The BOBCARD Etihad Guest card will be an enriching product for cardholders with a passion for travel, offering instant rewards and exclusive deals.”

The launch aligns with India’s growing air travel market, with domestic traffic up 6% and international bookings up over 18%, positioning the cards to meet evolving consumer travel needs by combining BOBCARD’s financial trust with Etihad’s global airline excellence
