Accor has returned to the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2026 with a refreshed portfolio, showcasing next-generation meetings and events across the Pacific. With over 400 hotels, resorts, and flats, Accor is reinforcing its leadership in the region's diverse events ecosystem, which includes convention centres, lifestyle venues, and coastal retreats. The company has seen a 19% increase in conference, incentive, and group bookings, driven by a renewed demand for face-to-face connections and flexible, experience-led venues.
Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer for Accor in the Pacific, stated, โMeetings and events are a cornerstone of our growth strategy in the Pacific.โ Accor's ALL Accor Meetings & Events programme integrates events into its loyalty ecosystem, rewarding organisers beyond the event itself.
Recent transformations include the Eden space at Shadow Play Melbourne by Peppers, offering panoramic city views, and Alma Events by BAHA in Perth, blending art and culture. The Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is also enhancing its facilities to accommodate up to 1,400 delegates.
Accor's recent openings, such as Elysium Noosa Resort and The Brighton Hotel Sydney, further strengthen its appeal with distinctive venues. Looking ahead, Accor plans to expand its capacity with new hotels like Mercure Melbourne La Trobe Street and Pullman Hamilton in New Zealand.
Sustainability remains a key focus, with over 230 eco-certified hotels. Accor supports planners with initiatives like waste reduction and energy-efficient venues, aligning with corporate ESG objectives. Williams emphasised the importance of embedding sustainability into event operations to meet ESG commitments without compromising experience
