Agoda has unveiled its 'Hat Yai Lights Up' campaign, spotlighting the vibrant city of Hat Yai in Southern Thailand as it recovers from last year's flooding. In collaboration with the Hat Yai Songkhla Hotels Association, the campaign offers travellers exclusive discounts and a curated guidebook to explore the city until 2 March.

The campaign aims to attract visitors by showcasing Hat Yai's bustling food streets, colourful night markets, scenic viewpoints, and stunning temples. With tourist attractions fully reopened, the city offers a mix of culture, cuisine, and urban excitement, catering to both relaxed getaways and action-packed itineraries. Agoda's Hat Yai travel guide, crafted with the Hat Yai Songkhla Hotels Association, highlights these experiences.

Akaporn Rodkong, Country Director for Thailand and Indochina at Agoda, stated, "Hat Yai continues to stand out as a destination with depth, character, and countless reasons to return." The campaign supports the city's momentum post-floods, making it easier for travellers to reconnect with Hat Yai.

Dr Sitthipong Sitthiphataraprabha, President of the Hat Yai Songkhla Hotels Association, added, "The Hat Yai Lights Up campaign demonstrates the city's readiness to welcome visitors again."

Agoda's commitment to Thailand's tourism industry extends beyond this campaign. The platform partners with WWF for wildlife conservation, offers sustainability training, and provides flexible financing for tourism enterprises. In Hat Yai, Agoda has contributed to local recovery efforts, including donating office furniture to schools and supporting Save the Children's flood recovery response with nearly $54,000 (THB 2 million)
