Coushatta Casino Resort unveils Legacy Tower

Coushatta Casino Resort, Louisiana's largest casino resort, is set to open its new Legacy Tower on 18 May, marking a significant expansion with over 1,000 rooms now available. The eight-storey tower, featuring 204 guest rooms including 100 luxury suites, is directly connected to the largest gaming floor in the Lake Charles region. This development aims to bolster Coushatta's status as a premier destination.

The expansion is described as one of the most significant in the resort's history. Nate Tanner, General Manager of Coushatta Casino Resort, stated, "Legacy Tower allows us to grow, create jobs, and deliver a higher-end experience whilst continuing to invest in the long-term future of the Coushatta Tribe." The tower's design incorporates elements inspired by the Coushatta Tribe's traditions, including tribal basketry and cultural storytelling.

The Legacy Tower is part of the ongoing "Bigger Better Coushatta" expansion, which seeks to enhance the guest experience with modern accommodations, upgraded gaming, and new amenities such as a Starbucks Café. The expansion is expected to create jobs, boost tourism, and support local businesses in Southwest Louisiana and East Texas.

A grand opening ceremony is scheduled for 15 May, featuring a ribbon-cutting, tribal dance performances, and a tour of the facilities. Celebrations will continue on 16 May with the $300,000 Legacy Luxury Giveaway, offering car and cash prizes. Further details will be announced in May
