SriLankan Airlines has announced new strategic partnerships with Saudia and Flynas, enhancing air travel connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. This collaboration will significantly broaden the airline's network, offering passengers access to a wider array of destinations through seamless domestic and international connections.

The partnership allows Saudia to provide access to seven international and thirteen domestic destinations, whilst Flynas adds eight international and six domestic routes. This expansion offers travellers increased flexibility and accessibility across Saudi Arabia. Key international destinations through Saudia include Amman, Abu Dhabi, and Los Angeles, with domestic connections to cities such as Jeddah and Madinah. Flynas extends the network with routes from Addis Ababa, Karachi, and Giza, among others.

Passengers from Saudi Arabia can now connect via Riyadh and Dammam to SriLankan Airlines' daily flights to Colombo, facilitating further travel across the airline's international network. This move caters to the rising demand for business, leisure, and visiting-friends-and-relatives travel between the two nations.

Dimuthu Tennakoon, Head of Commercial at SriLankan Airlines, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, "This partnership represents an important step in expanding SriLankan Airlines' presence across Saudi Arabia whilst strengthening links to key destinations in the Middle East, Africa, and North America."

Thusitha Wickramasinghe, Manager Saudi Arabia, added, "We are delighted to partner with Saudia and Flynas to further strengthen air travel links between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka."

SriLankan Airlines currently connects passengers to 131 destinations across 63 countries, operating an all-Airbus fleet. This strategic move is set to enhance the overall travel experience through improved network integration
