AAR CORP has launched Airvoyant, an AI-powered procurement platform designed to revolutionise the aviation parts sourcing process for airlines and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) providers. The platform, powered by Amazon Web Services, integrates with Aeroxchange's network of over 5,000 suppliers, offering a streamlined, one-click purchasing experience.
Airvoyant automates the traditionally manual parts sourcing process by embedding intelligent procurement into existing operational workflows. The platform's AI agents analyse supplier quotes and generate purchase recommendations based on historical data, including pricing patterns and supplier performance. This innovation aims to lay the groundwork for autonomous ordering, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
Delta Air Lines and Air Canada are collaborating with Airvoyant as subject matter experts, whilst Air Europa, Allegiant, Atlas Air, JetBlue, Thai Airways, and Virgin Atlantic serve as launch partners. These collaborations are expected to provide valuable feedback and real-world insights to shape the platform's evolution.
Built natively on AWS, Airvoyant benefits from a resilient cloud architecture, ensuring real-time processing and seamless integration with enterprise systems. This approach promises advanced automation, backed by robust security and compliance standards.
John Holmes, AAR's Chairman, President, and CEO, stated, "Airvoyant represents the first scalable solution to deliver agentic AI to airlines and MROs. These AI tools will reshape how customers source and procure parts, plan maintenance, and optimise operations."
The introduction of Airvoyant marks a significant step in AAR's commitment to developing next-generation software for the aviation industry, following its previous ventures with Trax and Aerostrat
