Abu Dhabi Air Expo doubles in size

The Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013 will commence from today at the Al Bateen Executive Airport.
The event will run until 7 March and is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The event has doubled in space from its first show in 2012 and expects more than 12,000 visitors. The first event witnessed participation from more than 160 aerospace-related organizations across UAE and more than 70 countries.
More than 100 aircraft will be on display including: Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, Piper Aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft, and, Airbus. Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Abu Dhabi Air Expo, General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport, said: “ADAC looks forward to helping aviation leaders from around the world grow their businesses through providing this platform to engage in dialogue with potential partners.”
