Abu Dhabi prepares for high-end hotel openings

Abu Dhabi’s luxury hotel product is to be given a boostthis month when several new hotel chains open properties in the emirate.
RoccoForte is set to open its first hotel in the emirate next Monday with 281 roomsand is already said to have gained significant interest from corporatetravellers and events.
Meanwhile, the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotels and Villasopened on Tuesday on Saadiyat Island with 306 rooms.
The recent openings, fromEuropean and North American companies, show the west’s confidence in the UAE,which has already built up tourism in the past 10 years. Properties also varyfrom resort style developments to sleek glass-fronted urban designs.
