Global hospitality firm Accor continues to expand its presence in Indonesia with the signing of Mercure Cibadak Sukabumi Resort, bringing Mercure's locally inspired hospitality to the natural landscapes of Sukabumi, West Java.

The hotel opened on Sunday, 1st February, and is poised to become a gateway for travellers seeking Sukabumi's natural wonders, supporting the country's appeal as a destination for both leisure travel and meaningful stays shaped by local character.

According to Accor chief operating officer for its premium, midscale, and economy division in Asia Garth Simmons: “Mercure Cibadak Sukabumi Resort marks a significant step in strengthening Mercure's presence in Indonesia. Set within a rich natural environment, the resort brings Mercure's warm, locally rooted approach into a leisure setting, creating a place where guests can feel welcomed, relaxed and connected to Sukabumi.”

These include four swimming pools, a dedicated children's pool, a Kids Club, bird aviary, fitness centre, and lobby lounge.

For meetings and events, the resort features a versatile 198-square-metre ballroom accommodating up to 200 guests, as well as the elegant 216-square-metre Nagara Chapel, ideal for weddings and social gatherings in a scenic resort setting
