Air India Express expands network to 58 destinations – adds Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun 

With the addition of Ahmedabad and Chandigarh from 1 September, 2025, and Dehradun from 15 September 2025, Air India Express will operate across 41 domestic and 17 international destinations.  

Wrapped in the spirit of Punjab, this Air India Express aircraft features a livery inspired by Phulkari, a tribute to the land’s vibrant legacy, as told through the Tales of India. 

Cementing its position as the country’s fastest growing airline with a fleet of 116 aircraft, Air India Express is expanding its footprint with the addition of three new cities to its network - Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun. In the first phase, the airline will connect these cities with its Bengaluru hub from September 1, 2025. Flyers can book these flights at attractive introductory one-way fares starting from ₹4100 on Air India Express’ award-winning website, airindiaexpress.com, and other major booking channels.

The airline will operate twice daily flights on the Ahmedabad - Bengaluru and Chandigarh – Bengaluru routes, and daily flights on the Dehradun- Bengaluru route.

Air India Express’ new aircraft, adorned with a livery inspired by Gujarat’s Bandhani, takes flight as part of the Tales of India initiative, bringing to life the colours, customs, and timeless stories of the region.
