Air India has announced a strategic interline partnership with WestJet, Canada's leading leisure airline, to enhance connectivity between India and North America. Travellers flying to Toronto or Vancouver with Air India can now access onward connections to 17 Canadian cities, including Calgary, Edmonton, and Montreal, as well as 14 US cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Additionally, Halifax, Calgary, and St. John’s are accessible via Air India’s European gateways at Amsterdam, Paris, and London.

Air India currently operates 17 weekly non-stop flights to Canada, with 10 to Toronto and 7 to Vancouver. The airline also offers 75 weekly services to its European gateways, facilitating connections to Canada via WestJet.
The new interline itineraries are available for booking through Air India’s website, mobile app, and travel agents globally, marking a significant expansion in travel options for passengers between India and North America
