Al Khozama announces US$140 million investment in KSA hospitality projects

In an effort to strengthen its position in Riyadh, Al Khozama Management Company has recently announced that more than US$140 million is being allocated to ambitious hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia.
The company outlined projects in the pipeline. These include the conversion of the Al Khozama Center in Riyadh into a four-star deluxe Hotel Al Khozama to replace existing Hotel Al Khozama which has been in operation since 1978.
Work on the new project will begin in Q4 of 2012, with the opening of the new property scheduled for the last quarter of 2014. The new Hotel Al Khozama will comprise 215 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Al Khozama’s flagship five-star property, the Al Faisaliah Hotel-North, A Rosewood Hotel, will undergo extensive renovation this year. Refurbishment will begin in June in the lobby of the Al Faisaliah Hotel.
This will be followed by the introduction of new concepts in the hotel’s fine dining restaurants, The Globe and Cristal.
The guest rooms and suites will also undergo extensive renovation during the next 12 months. With the introduction of new technology combined with personalized service.

In addition to Al Khozama’s Riyadh properties, the company also operates a number of hotels in other Saudi Arabian cities, including the Al Shohada Hotel in the holy city of Makkah, the Hotel Al Khozama – Madinah and the Al Faisaliah Hotel Madinah, in the Kingdom’s second holy city. The company is scheduled to announce a new hotel in Jeddah soon.
