Two travel industry stalwarts have put themselves forward to become the new chairman of ABTA.
Roger Allard, executive chairman of All Leisure Group PLC and Noel Josephides, managing director of Sunvil Holidays are to compete for the role, which was left open when John McEwan announced his retirement last month.
Both candidates will present to the ABTA board which will then start a voting process up to late June.
The new chairman will be announced in early July.
It comes as the association revamped its B2B Partner scheme as partners look for more marketing opportunities to reach ABTA members.
An additional tie named Partner+ is now available which includes an enhanced listing on abta.com, bespoke email marketing and banner advertising on the site. Discounts and benefits remain for both levels of membership.
