AmaWaterways has announced two new ships for 2015 which will feature the line’s first inter-connecting rooms.
The cruise line will introduce AmaSerena and AmaVista next year as sister ships to AmaReina, AmaPrima, AmaCerto and AmaSonata.
The new ships will sail on the Danube, Main and Reine from the spring both accommodating 164 passengers each. Its inter-connecting offering will allow the line to target more to families or groups travelling together.
Facilities will include massage services, fitness rooms, sun decks and heated swimming pools with swim-up bars.
“We are delighted to welcome AmaSerena and AmaVista to our European fleet, and to be responsive to the rising demand for new ship design and offerings in this particular region,” said Kristin Karst, AmaWaterways’ executive vice president and co-owner. “With a distinctive approach to offering unparalleled service and comfort, these two beauties are best-in-class. They will undoubtedly further our mission of bringing unforgettable river cruising experiences to AmaWaterways travellers.”
