Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts and Colours of OBLU have announced a lavish festive season across the Maldives, with events beginning before Christmas and continuing into the New Year.
The celebrations will take place at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, offering guests a blend of tropical indulgence and island traditions.
Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives will host events from 21 December 2025 to 7 January 2026, starting with sunrise yoga and lagoon cruises. Guests can enjoy the Grand Kanifushi Christmas Tree, carols, and themed evenings.
Christmas Eve will feature Santa’s arrival, a beachfront gala, and an open-air DJ party, whilst Christmas Day offers a festive lunch and “Cinema Under the Stars.”
The season concludes with the Twilight Fantazia New Year’s Gala, complete with fireworks.

Just for the grownups
OBLU SELECT Lobigili, an adults-only island, will run its celebrations from 22 December 2025 to 9 January 2026, and the island will offer lagoon adventures, wellness sessions, and couples’ workshops.
Christmas Eve will feature sunset cocktails and a gala dinner, while New Year’s Eve pulls out all the stops with a Masquerade-themed night.
The festive offer includes up to 20 percent off on a four-night stay, round-trip transfers, and a Christmas Eve gala dinner.
