British Airways has recorded load factors in excess of 85% on routes to Asia Pacific in September 2011. The UK flag carrier carried approximately 140,000 passengers to and from the region last month – 11.1% more than in September 2010. Due to the airline’s capacity expansion however, load factors actually dipped by 1.8 percentage points, but still averaged a healthy 86.1%.
Year-to-date the airline has carried 1.15 million passengers to and from Asia Pacific, 11.% more than the same period last year, with an average load factor of 80.4%.
