BGS renews fuel supply contract with airBaltic

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has extended its partnership with Latvian airline airBaltic, securing a contract to supply fuel at Palanga and Riga airports until the end of 2026. The renewed agreement, effective from 1 November 2025, reaffirms BGS's role in providing fuelling services for a portion of airBaltic's operations at Riga Airport, following the airline's procurement results.

Vitalis Dūdys, Head of Commerce at BGS Group, highlighted the significance of the continued collaboration, stating, “Throughout all these years of collaboration, airBaltic has had many opportunities to experience our professionalism and service quality firsthand. The continuation of this partnership is a great recognition for us. Our goal remains the same - to continuously improve and support airBaltic in achieving its ambitious goals.”

The partnership, which began in 2015, underscores BGS's reputation for delivering high-quality services. This extension supports airBaltic's operational planning and service quality as the airline continues to expand its network in the Baltic region. airBaltic offers daily flights between Palanga and Riga, providing passengers with connections to over 80 destinations from Riga Airport, the largest in the Baltics.

BGS is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest ACMI services group, which operates a fleet of 145 aircraft and offers a range of aviation services, including aircraft maintenance and crew training. This renewed agreement further solidifies BGS's position as a trusted partner in the aviation industry.
