Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) is fast gearing up to cater for an influx of international travellers looking to visit the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
The visitors will attend the event scheduled to be held from 17-19 April 2015 transiting through Bahrain International Airport (BIA).
The airport authority held a committee meeting to discuss preparations required to accommodate teams, visitors and cargo for the race. The final arrangements were also reviewed.
Mohamed Thamir AlKaabi, chief airport operating officer at BAC said: “the F1 is a significant event for Bahrain and we look forward to contributing to its overall success. We are working closely with the airport community to make sure that all resources are in place to streamline movement of passengers and cargo.”
The event will draw a large number of visitors at Bahrain International Airport (BIA)
