Brazil launches campaign to boost international tourism

Visit Brasil has unveiled the "Brasil Specialist Rewards" campaign at Fitur in Madrid, aiming to enhance the global promotion of Brazilian destinations by rewarding travel agents. This initiative, running until 2026, offers monthly and quarterly cash prizes, with top performers invited to a unique experience in Brazil.

The campaign encourages travel agents to deepen their connection with Brazil through the concept "Live what you sell. Feel Brazil." Certified agents can register their bookings on the official platform, increasing their chances of winning prizes. The programme targets professionals in 14 strategic markets, including the UK, US, and Germany.

Marcelo Freixo, president of Visit Brasil, emphasised the campaign's significance: "Recognising this role is strategic to keep our country competitive, desirable and, above all, present in showcases around the world."

Participants will have the opportunity to experience Brazil firsthand during the Brasil Travel Specialist Top Sellers Famtour from 25 September to 2 October. The tour includes itineraries showcasing Brazil's culture and natural beauty, culminating in an awards ceremony at the ABAV Expo in Sรฃo Paulo.

The campaign aligns with Brazil's International Tourism Marketing Plan, Plano Brasis, which focuses on innovation, diversity, and sustainability. By incentivising travel agents, Brazil aims to strengthen its position as a leading global tourism destination.
