Cathay Pacific Airways has expanded its codeshare services with Japan Airlines (JAL) to cover more destinations in Japan.
Under the enhanced arrangement, Cathay’s ‘CX’ code will be placed on JAL domestic flights between Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and eight Japanese cities – Izumo, Miyazaki, Misawa, Matsuyama, Nagasaki, Oita, Tokushima and Ube. Cathay will also codeshare on JAL services between Tokyo’s Narita Airport and Nagoya, as well as between Sapporo and Nagoya.
The Hong Kong-based carrier’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Rupert Hogg said; “Japan has long been a very popular destination for Hong Kong travellers and we at Cathay Pacific have been putting significant effort into giving our passengers more options for travel to the country. We are pleased to be able to offer even more domestic destinations through this ongoing cooperation with our oneworld partner Japan Airlines.”
