Cirium’s Global On-Time Performance Report: July 2025

Cirium has just shared statistics for On-Time Performance Report for July 2025. Cirium defines an on-time flight as one that arrives at its destination airport within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time.

Global: 

  • Aeromexico led the pack with 89.81% of flights arriving at their destination on time, being named the most punctual airline globally
  • The second spot was taken by Azul, securing an 87.85% punctuality score, followed by Saudia with 87.57%
  • Qatar Airways and LATAM Airlines took the fourth and fifth spots with 85.79% and 82.08% of flights on-time respectively

Europe: 

  • Icelandair was crowned the most on-time airline in Europe last month, with 81.46% of flights arriving on-time
  • SAS followed closely in second position, with 81.07% of all flights arriving on-time
  • Turkish Airlines, Finnair and Iberia also made the top five, offering customers punctual service on over 75% of flights
  • No UK airline was featured in the top ten

Airports: 

  • Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport was crowned the most on-time large airport globally last month, with 92.35% of flights departing on-time, followed by Chennai International Airport 

Cancellations: 

  • Flight cancellations across Europe increased by 29.51% in June, with 10,640 cancelled flights compared to 8,215 in June.
