CLCircular, a European leader in supply chain monitoring through connected, reusable IoT sensors, has become the first logistics monitoring company to achieve B Corp certification. This milestone recognises the company's adherence to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and corporate accountability. CLCircular's innovative business model, which focuses on the recovery, refurbishment, and reuse of sensors, is rooted in circular economy principles.
Since its inception in 2020, CLCircular has developed a rental model for reusable sensors, supported by a dedicated reverse logistics team. This approach has enabled the company to recover over 85% of its sensors, significantly reducing electronic waste and avoiding 191,557 kg of CO₂-eq emissions in 2025 alone. The company's technology also enhances transport security and efficiency by providing real-time monitoring of variables such as temperature and location.
CEO Iñigo Alonso Echevarría expressed pride in joining the B Corp community, stating, “We strongly believe that technology must be a driver of positive change, and that an IoT device company can also generate real sustainability impact by redefining its business model.”
The B Corp certification, granted by B Lab, measures company-wide management performance across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. CLCircular now joins a global network of over 10,000 companies committed to redefining business success by promoting economic models that generate both financial and social value
