Club Med has unveiled plans for a new resort, Club Med Tremblant, in Mont-Tremblant, Canada, marking a significant expansion of its North American presence. This development follows the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which opened in 2021, and aims to enhance the brand's global mountain leadership. The resort, expected to open in December 2028, will offer a premium all-inclusive mountain experience inspired by contemporary Alpine chalets.
The project is a collaboration between Club Med, Alderan, a French management company, and Station Mont-Tremblant, a renowned ski provider. This partnership includes a long-term lease and a construction contract, positioning Club Med as the resort's operator and project manager. Carolyne Doyon, a representative from Club Med, emphasised the importance of Canada in their North American growth strategy, stating, "We are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience."
Club Med Tremblant will cater to families and active travellers, featuring ski-in and ski-out access, gourmet dining, kids' clubs, and a range of summer activities. The resort will also focus on sustainability, targeting LEED and Green Globe certifications, and will integrate responsibly into Mont-Tremblant's natural and cultural environment.
The collaboration with Station Mont-Tremblant will enhance the guest experience with ski school offerings and planned upgrades to the mountain. This new resort is set to become a flagship ski destination for Club Med in North America, contributing to Mont-Tremblant's economic and tourism growth.
