Dan Hotels, an Israel hotel chain is set to venture into India with construction of a new hotel in Bengaluru.
The Financial Express quoted CEO of Dan Hotels, Raffi Sadeh saying: “Bengaluru offers us with a good potential for business given the presence of several Israeli hi-tech companies. We would also explore opportunities in other Indian cities after starting our operations in Bengaluru.”
Construction of the 230-rooms hotel is underway and the group is planning to inaugurate it in about 10-12 months.
“We have been extended every possible cooperation from the Indian government and local administration in building the facility and we are excited about moving into India,” Gidi Federman, who is supervising the construction, was quoted.
The top-tier Bengaluru hotel will be the first facility of the chain outside Israel, apart from it marketing and sales office in New York.
Dan Hotels is partnering with India in organising the Indian culinary week.
