Representative ImageThe Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has expanded its Experience Abu Dhabi Experts Platform with two new e-learning modules. These modules, centred on the Official Abu Dhabi Pass and Ramadan in Abu Dhabi, aim to provide travel industry professionals with essential insights and tools to enhance visitor experiences and promote Abu Dhabi as a premier destination.
The Abu Dhabi Pass module offers travel agents a comprehensive understanding of the pass, which provides savings of up to 50% at over 70 attractions, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World. It also includes benefits such as complimentary tourist shuttles and SIM cards. This module is designed to help agents streamline itinerary planning and enhance the value offered to clients.
The Ramadan module provides cultural insights into one of the most significant times of the year in Abu Dhabi. It covers the traditions and spiritual dimensions of Ramadan, enabling agents to recommend authentic experiences such as Iftar gatherings and tours of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. This ensures that visitors can experience the emirate with cultural sensitivity and respect.
Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, stated, “These new modules reflect how the Experience Abu Dhabi Experts Platform continues to evolve and how we prioritise providing our partners with practical, hands-on tools that make a real difference to how they sell the destination.”
These additions to the platform reinforce DCT Abu Dhabi's commitment to global training and collaboration with the travel industry. Available in multiple languages, the programme plays a crucial role in educating and empowering the global travel trade community, ensuring that agents can craft compelling itineraries that highlight Abu Dhabi's cultural and innovative appeal.
