Doubletree by Hilton strengthens Saudi Arabia presence

Hilton Worldwide is boosting its network in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a major joint announcement with prominent investor, Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi & Sons.
The 309-room DoubleTree by Hilton Riyadh – Olaya is forecast to open by mid-2015. Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide, Middle East & Africa said: “We are witnessing a determined pace of progress in the Middle East market. Once all twenty pipeline hotels open within the next four years, we will offer a diverse hotel portfolio in Saudi Arabia.”
The new hotel is designed to appeal to both leisure and business travellers. The property will feature a business centre, function room, two boardrooms and two meeting rooms. Leisure facilities will include a health club, outdoor swimming pool, two restaurants, including speciality dining, and a lobby lounge.
