Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH), the Dubai-based hotel group that operates the Coral Hotels & Resorts brand, is planning to expand in Asia.
The company, which currently operates more than 30 properties across the Middle East and North Africa, said that Asia is its “next frontier”, and is eying opportunities in Malaysia and Indonesia for the expansion of its alcohol-free hotel concept.
“We are definitely pushing hard to build up operations in Asia. It is a region of high growth and we have got the right products and brands to match the market expectations and requirement. Moving forward, we want to go where the business is and in this respect, Asia is our next frontier,” said Michel Noblet, HMH’s President & CEO.
“It is utterly logical for us to position ourselves in countries where there is demand for alcohol-free hotels. In this respect Indonesia and Malaysia look quite promising. Equally lucrative is the mid-market segment in both the MENA region and the sub-continent,” he added.
HMH already has 22 hotels in its Middle Eastern development pipeline.
