Dusit to manage ASAI Camaya Coast in Bataan

This new venture will be located within the expansive 20-million-sq-m Camaya Coast development

Dusit International has signed a Hotel Management Agreement with Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation to operate ASAI Camaya Coast, a 150-key lifestyle hotel set to open in 2029.

This new venture will be located within the expansive 20-million-sq-m Camaya Coast development in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines.

The agreement marks a strategic expansion for Dusit, introducing its ASAI Hotels brand to one of the Philippines' rapidly growing tourist destinations.

Bataan, known for its rich World War II heritage and scenic beaches, saw a 41.16% increase in visitors in 2024, according to the Provincial Tourism Office.

The region's appeal is further enhanced by new leisure offerings, residential communities, and infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Camaya Airport.

ASAI Camaya Coast will be the first ASAI Hotels branded property within a large-scale seaside development.

It promises convenient access to dining, retail areas, outdoor activities, a water park, an 18-hole golf course, and the township's signature white-sand beach.

The hotel also  aims to offer a relaxed, community-driven environment for millennial-minded travellers.

Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Camaya Coast is one of the most compelling leisure destinations emerging in the Philippines today, and we are delighted to introduce ASAI Hotels to this dynamic setting.”

Manuel Carlos L. Ilagan Jr., President of Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation, highlighted the partnership's potential, saying, “We see Camaya Coast as a game-changing development for Bataan, and we are proud to welcome a hospitality group that shares our passion for creating memorable, community-centred destinations.”

Dusit currently operates five properties in the Philippines and plans further expansion with several new openings from 2026 onwards.
