Edge at Hudson Yards, the tallest indoor-outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, is set to undergo a transformative redesign, debuting in summer 2026. The multimillion-dollar project will introduce a series of permanent immersive installations, offering visitors a multisensory experience as they ascend 1,100 feet into the Manhattan skyline.
The redesign, a collaboration between Hudson Yards Experiences and renowned design studios Journey, Moment Factory, and SOFTlab, will span from the 4th floor entry to the 100th floor sky deck. The installations include "Pulse," an immersive environment of electric colour and sound; "Crystal Cave," a space filled with translucent jewels that change with the sun; and "Infinite City," featuring luminous skyscrapers that reframe the cityscape.
Andrew Lustgarten, Executive Chairman of Hudson Yards Experiences, stated, "The new Edge is driven by immersive design, emotional storytelling, and our desire to create experiences that people want to share and return to again and again."
In addition to the visual spectacles, Edge will enhance its hospitality offerings with reimagined indoor and outdoor bars on the 100th floor, curated by Tao Group Hospitality. The venue will also see the return of the Marquee Skydeck, featuring performances from global talents like MK and Benny Benassi.
Edge will remain open daily, with tickets available at www.edgenyc.com. The new experiences promise to redefine Edge as a landmark, blending cutting-edge design with the iconic New York City skyline
