Emirates has boosted its Singapore-Dubai capacity by 25% with additional five more weekly flights. These new services bring the airline’s total number of flight connections between Singapore and Dubai to 26 – the most offered by any airline on this route.
“The growing passenger demand for flights on the Dubai-Singapore route signals the growing links between these two important global hubs,” said Nick Rees, Emirates’ Manager for Singapore & Brunei.
“In addition to enhancing the existing strong business and trade links between the two cities, we are excited to play a part in further growing their respective tourism sectors. With this increased frequency, it offers our valued customers added flexible travel options and enhances their travel experiences by allowing them to connect even more seamlessly to our other flights in Emirates’ expansive global network,” he added.
Emirates operates the Singapore route using a 364-seat Boeing 777-300ER, offering 12 First Class Suites, 42 Business Class and 310 Economy Class seats.
The new flight, EK 354, departs Dubai at 0325 and arrives in Singapore at 1445 every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The return flight, EK 355, departs Singapore at 0200 and arrives in Dubai at 0510 every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Emirates will further increase the frequency of its Singapore-Dubai route from 2 February 2012, adding an extra two weekly services to make EK354 and EK355 daily flights. This will grow the airline’s total Singapore-Dubai frequency to 28 flights per week.
